Applying for Jobs


You can apply for an open position by applying online or by submitting an employment application, resume and cover letter by mail, fax or email.

Applying Online


An employment application must be submitted in order to be considered for employment. We recommend you use our online application process.

To apply for an open position:
  1. View current job opportunities and select the one you wish to apply for.
  2. Create an account.
  3. Fill out the online application.
By applying online, you have access to the job opportunities system 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Online applications are stored on a secure site. Only authorized employees and hiring authorities have access to the information submitted.

Application Requirements


The City does not accept a resume in lieu of a completed City application, however, we do accept resumes as long as they accompany your completed application. Incomplete applications will be disqualified.
